The bunny garden offers safe and secure holiday care for rabbits and guinea pigs. With many years experience, and a great amount of love in caring for all types of animals, I like to think of the bunny garden as a country retreat for my much loved little fury guests, many of which return year after year for their holiday in the countryside.

During the spring and summer guests enjoy long lazy out door days , nibbling on proper meadow grass, chilling out in the shade and summer evenings full of play. All of my guests have their own hutch for night time and large secure run for the day. There is a run for every hutch too so they can enjoy all day out side. The hutches are inside a secure and well ventilated shed ensuring maximum safety at night time.

During the late autumn and winter months I move all the outdoor runs inside a large insulated shed so guests can still enjoy plenty of exercise. The runs are bedded down with soft straw for the rabbits to forage in and are also provided with plenty of hay for nibbling. Hay, bedding and fresh food is all included in the price of your pets holiday , extra services such as nail trimming , grooming or administering medication is also provide at no extra cost.

Guinea pigs have their own shed, and for out doors I place the guinea pig runs away from the rabbits. This is to ensure a more peaceful holiday for your guinea pigs, who if they are not used to rabbits can be easily upset by rabbits activities such as foot stamping . At the same time, guinea pigs vocal behaviour such at high pitched squeaking and tooth chattering can also be alarming to the silent nature of rabbits who say very little.

During their stay your pets will be treated with lots of love and care , they are handled and checked twice daily while been put out in to the day time runs. All rabbits must be fully vaccinated against Mixi , VHD1 and VHD 2 at least two weeks before their holiday, and vaccination certificates need to be shown on admittance. Your pets own dry food will need to be provided, so please bring enough to last them, you are also welcome to bring your own toys or anything else to make your pet feel at home . I also have plenty of space for pet carries to be left if required.

The bunny garden is not just a holiday place for rabbits and guinea pigs, I can also offer long stay care for all sorts of reasons such as moving house or personal health issues.
